A series of articles on tilapia sales are presented. The first describes world production of tilapia, the growth of the US market, the stagnation of the European market and competition from pangasius (Vietnamese catfish). The second article presents news from companies (Aquamar SA, Fishgen, Mountain Stream, Seafood Connection, Samband, Hottlet Frozen Foods, and Guangzhou Hengfa Aquatic Product Co. Ltd.) in the tilapia industry. The final article describes the development of the tilapia industry in Taiwan. Tables are presented of EU and US tilapia imports.
