JFE Steel's expansion plans for India and Thailand remain on hold, says Hajime Bada, president of the Japanese steelmaker's parent company, JFE Holdings. Talking with Steel Business Briefing on the sidelines of the World Steel Association conference in Tokyo Monday, Bada referred to a 4 October press report that said Indian steelmaker JSW Steel was eyeing taking an equity share in JFE Holdings in 1-2 years.
