摘要

The European Union has struck a free trade deal with Canada that will lead to the elimination of most duties on fisheries. The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) is expected to remove more than 99 percent of tariffs between the two economies and create sizeable new market access opportunities. It is expected that tariffs ranging from between 6 percent and 20 percent will be eliminated on products such as lobster, shrimp and scallops.
