The emerging threat from Phytophthora to trees in Scotland.

摘要

This paper describes the four species of Phytophthora which have been detected in Britain, which have the potential to be highly damaging to trees in Scotland across a range of habitats and environments. These include P. lateralis, P. austrocedrae, P. ramorum, and P. kernoviae. The occurrence, distribution, host trees, and disease symptoms and aetiologies of these pathogens are also given.
