On Thursday 17 May, around 65 people, from the private and public sectors across Scotland, and including many RSFS members, met in the Birnam Institute. This was for a most useful seminar organised jointly by Scottish Native Woods and The Woodland Trust on the Management of Plantations on Ancient Woodland Sites. The morning was spent indoors and the afternoon in Dalcapon Wood, on Atholl Estates, just north of Ballinluig, above the Tay.
