Mapping cyber DNA

The Army is exploring the use of software that operates like the human nervous system, which can provide continuous monitoring of networked systems to detect, analyze and stop any anomalous behavior triggered by insiders or external attackers. Developed by the University of Arizona and spun off into a commercial product, the software, known as an autonomic cyber security system, builds a cyber DNA on users that uniquely characterizes and predicts user behavior.
