摘要

Used well, glass can be one of the most dramatic structural materials in building design. Just think back to the majestic glass arcades and exhibition halls built at the turn of the 20th Century. Glass has had a revival in recent years and is increasingly used in public buildings and office towers. Even the Louvre in Paris chose to expand and modernize their historic structure with a striking glass pyramid. With its dramatic vistas and a wealth of natural light, Australia is an ideal location for buildings which use glass as a major structural material.
