In this, the third installment in our four-part series on environmental activities at Sumitomo Corporation, we look at energy-related "eco-businesses"- the prevention of global warming, reduction of CO_2 emissions and other energy-saving measures. As environmental awareness increases, Sumitomo Corporation is actively pursuing energy-related eco-business, and is thereby contributing to a cleaner living environment. This time we will introduce three businesses: sales of water electrolysis-type hydrogen generators, development of filling stations for compressed natural gas (CNG) automobiles, and micro-gas turbines (MGT) powered by methane gas.
