EU recovery on a more solid footing: Eurofer

The EU steel using sectors ended last year on a weak note, accordingto data for the fourth quarter of 2014. However total activity for thewhole of 2014 grew 2.2%. Eurofer expects the same amount of growthfor 2015 and a stronger growth of 2.7% is expected for 2016. Whilethis year an increase in private consumption looks set to be the majorgrowth driver, investment is seen strengthening more robustly in 2016.
