Colombian metallurgical coal producer Carvao da Colombia (CCX) has declined a $170 million purchase offer from Blackstone Advisory Partners (BAP). The CCX board of directors decided not to go forward with the proposal and is still committed to selling some of its assets to Turkey’s Yildirim Group, according to a statement from CCX.
