Seaborne iron ore prices rose for the second-straight day Thursday, as improved steel margins boosted demand and lent support to spot tenders. The 62% Fe Iron Ore Index was assessed 50 cents higher at $117/ dry mt CFR North China. Most sources had a bullish outlook for the iron ore market, given the recent increases in steel prices.
