State-owned Steel Authority of India Ltd. sees no threat to renewal of the mining lease for its Bolani iron ore mine in the eastern state of Orissa, a source familiar with the issue said Friday. The source was responding to recent media reports that India's Ministry of Environment and Forests might put a spoke in the lease renewal as some of the area around the Bolani mine is being earmarked for an elephant corridor.
