Iron ore swaps prices increased further Thursday, with activity building towards the end of the Chinese National Day holiday week on anticipation of firmer demand for physical cargoes later into the fourth quarter. A gradual rise in November and December prices took day-on-day gains to about $2/dry mt, with values across next year supported by a particularly firm trade in Q1 2013 at $114.50/dmt.
