European ferrovanadium prices have increased sharply over the past past two weeks on a sudden increase in demand from China's industry, sources said Friday. Platts assessed ferrovanadium at $26.50-27.30/kg in-warehouse Rotterdam Thursday from $25.50-26.10/kg a week ago, but up from $24-24.40/kg two weeks ago.
