Sundance progresses Cameroon iron ore project

Australia's Sundance Resources said Friday the government of Cameroon had signed an agreement that will progress its Mbalam iron ore project and pave the way for Hanlong Mining's takeover. The agreement, referred to as the Mbalam Convention, was signed in the Cameroon capital of Yaoundé Thursday, and will lead to the approval of a mining permit for the project and allow for construction to begin, Sundance said.
