Domestic Chinese iron ore prices stable

Prices of Chinese domestic iron ore were unmoved over the week as miners chose to wait and see whether import prices, which have fallen for three consecutive days, would fall further and put pressure on domestic ore. Platts assessed domestic 66% Fe iron ore concentrate delivered to mills in Tangshan city in north China’s Hebei province at Yuan 580-590/dry mt ($95-$96.5/ dmt) Friday, unchanged on the week, on cash terms and including 17% VAT.
