Premium coal spot pricesin Asia slipped Tuesday as the introductionof fresh, competitively priced Marchlaycan supply coincided with poor end-userdemand in the Chinese market.Premium low-vol hard coking coal fell25 cents on day to $113/mt CFR ChinaTuesday. This equated to $105.60/mt FOBAustralia netting back with Panamaxfreight. Prices for tier-two HCC wereunchanged at $102.50/mt CFR China.
