(NSSC) has agreed with severalSouth African charge chrome producersto set the third quarter contract price at116 cents/lb CIF Japan, rolling over fromthe second quarter, company spokesmanManabu Tani told Platts Thursday.In the past, the quarterly prices werenegotiated between South Africa’s largestcharge chrome producer Glencore andNSSC. Tani declined to name the producersinvolved in the Q3 settlement. AGlencore official also declined to comment.
