Indonesia's pending export ban on metallic ores in 2014 is strengthening PT Indoferro's determination to enter nickel ore smelting in the country, a company spokesman said Thursday. “We have a vision for a bigger investment of an integrated stainless steel project because the ban would provide investors with the advantage of more choices in ore supply and more bargaining power,” he told Platts Steel Business Briefing.
