The largest ever monthly Turkish scrap swaps trade was done in London on Friday morning, with one trader saying the European market had “opened with a bang.” The 5,000 mt trade, between two traders and brokered by FIS, was done at $367.50/ mt for December early in London trade. A couple of Black Sea billet swaps were also done, by one of the traders involved in the scrap clip.
