Spot prices of prime quality coking coal in Asia ended the week on a firmer note as the market was supported by buying interest from China and East Asia. The Platts premium low vol assessment gained 1 dollars to 210.50 dollars/mt FOB Australia meaning a 2 dollars/mt increase week-on-week. Second-tier HCCs gained 0.50 dollars/mt to 187.50 dollars/mt FOB, resulting in a 1 dollars/mt move compared to last Friday.
