IFM ramps up Sky Chrome mine ferrochrome output

During July and August IFL's furnaces performed “better than expected” and produced 39,700 mt of ferrochrome, after the company reduced its load in the winter months due to higher electricity tariffs in South Africa. The winter tariffs are effective from June to August every year and IFL expects production to be reduced by around 10% during this period.
