As a slow summer in the US zinc market winds down, the precise level of a typical trade on special high-grade zinc seems as elusive as new customer orders, with market sources split on whether the SHG premiums is trending north or south of 7 cents (plus London Metal Exchange cash). Although recently, a number of sources have said the SHG premium was being pressured a bit higher because of limited availability of material.
