And a strongreduction in purchases by big steelmakerssince the beginning of the year has intensified future uncertainty.The Platts domestic clean steel scrapassessment remained at Real 460-Real 500/mt ($131-$143/mt), and heavy melting scrap(HMS) was assessed at Real 450-480/mt.Prices are on a delivered-to-mill basis.
