摘要

Introduction. -The aim of this study was to explore the effects of obesity on peak power (PP) determined during the force/velocity test (F/V) and the influence of aerobic fitness on this PP in obese (0), overweight (OW) and lean (L) adolescent boys.Results and conclusion. -VO_2max (ml/min/kg) and Ppeak (W/kg) were significantly higher in Land OW in comparison to O. A positive relationship was obtained for our three groups between PP (W/g) and V02max (ml/min/kg) (r2 =0.49; p<0.05). Our results demonstrated that V02max may play a major role in the performance developed during the F/V test in obese, overweight and lean adolescent boys.
