Eurofer scrap indices steady, pricing ‘confused’

Eurofer’s scrap price index stayed relatively steady in March as no average pattern appeared from the countries polled and the international scrap market traded on volatile opinion. Demolition scrap stayed level at 228, new arisings fell one point to 223, and shredded increased one point to 224. The index ran 25-30 points lower than March in 2014.
