Metinvest raises external ore sales on lower consumption

Ukrainian mining and steel-making group Metinvest sold nearly 10% more iron ore in the open market in January-September this year than in the same 2011 period, and slightly raised iron ore extra-group shipments in the third quarter - due to lower in-house consumption, according to the company's third quarter report.
