US West Coast (USWC) dockside prices have moved up in August mirroring the Midwest market. Containers of heavy melting scrap I/II (80/20 blend) were heard being transacted at 365 dollars/mt FAS USWC port. The price represents about a 40 dollars/mt increase from transactions confirmed in early July.
