Australian mining companies continue to have favourable views of African resources with a large majority expecting to increase their investment in the region over the next twelve months, according to an opinion survey by mining specialists Scope Systems conducted at the Africa Down Under mining conference in Perth last week. “With 71.9% of respondents expecting their company to increase its investments in Africa over the next twelve months, it is clear growth in Africa is set to continue,” Troy Morrison, Scope's managing director, said.
