Chile's steel price index down 0.2% on year in August

The steel price index produced by Chile's National Institute of Statistics decreased 0.2% in August compared with the same month last year and decreased 0.3% compared with July. INE calculates the data based on the prices of steel bar, rebar, sections, wire, tubes and ferromolybdenum produced or fabricated within Chile. INE does not report market values or a value for the index, only the percentage change.
