Spot coking coal prices were largely steady in Asia Thursday, despite positive signs returning to the Indian market. Fundamentals appeared to be rather balanced, market sources said, with a spurt of deals in September clearing any immediate pressure on producers to shift cargoes. “I don't think producers have to move cargoes as much,” an Australian trader said. “They don't have to accept every bid anymore.”
