Platts assessed the spotblast furnace pellet premium at $19.25/dmt CFR North China Wednesday overthe 62% Fe Iron Ore Index (IODEX)assessments, and after adjustment to65% Fe basis.The assessed pellet premium wasnormalized to typical specifications of65% iron, 0.35% alumina, 5% silica,0.02% phosphorus and 0.003% sulfur.Physical properties specified by theassessment are 250 Cold CrushingStrength (CCS), and a maximum sizing of2.5% under 5 mm.
