In Europe the hot rolled and cold rolled coil markets strengthened with mills reporting strong demand from end-users and lead-times stretching out towards the end of the year. The announcement of further anti-dumping investigations proved a turning point in the middle of summer with market sentiment flipping from an expectation of weakness in Q4 to strength.
