Platts assessed the 62% Fe IronOre Index at $57.70/dry mt CFR Qingdao,unchanged on day.“The steel market is bearish [and] ironore seems [to see buying support] at the$55/dmt level,” a Singapore-based tradersaid, suggesting demand had fallen withprices climbing above that level.
