The scrap import market in East Asia last week displayed clear signs of firming but importing mills are still slow to accede to US suppliers' rising offer prices, regional trading sources told Platts Steel Business Briefing. Hyundai Steel was reported to have booked two bulk cargoes of US-origin HMS I scrap for September arrival at 407 dollars/mt CFR.
