Inventories at German steel stockholders continued their upward trend in June, reaching 2.4 million metric tons, up 1% year-on-year, according to latest figures from the stockholders' association Bundesverband Deutscher Stahlhandel (BDS). For the whole of the April-June quarter however, Q2 inventories remained stable compared to last year's second quarter.
