Aim- The purpose of this study was to verify whether stiffness is altered by wearing minimalist shoes during running. Synthesis - Fourteen runners carried out two trials of 5 minutes at 10 km.h~(-1), one was performed with minimal shoes and the other with traditional shoes. Kinematics data were measured by an Optojump~R and vert,cal (k_(vert)) and leg stiffness (K_(leg)) were calculated from these data. Conclusion. -The kinematics adaptations induced an increase in k_(leg) in minimalist shoes, whereas k_(vert) is not influenced by the type of shoes.
