Iron ore swaps Thursday saw greater trading activity and price increases of around $2 in prompt months, driven by physical cargoes and higher rebar futures against the backdrop of better economic sentiment in China. A recovery in the Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) for China helped stoke buying appetite, a market source said.
