Spot prices for high-carbonferrochrome fell this week in Asia in thintrading with limited buyers, according tomarket sources. There were no deals reported as Chinesemarket participants waited for Baosteel'sannouncement of its January ferrochromepurchase price for direction. The Decemberprice was Yuan 5,620/mt (66 cents/lb),excluding local taxes.
