FeCr pricing pressured by Chinese domestic price cuts

Spot prices for both high-carbonferrochrome and charge chrome imports haveremained unchanged over the week into Chinaand Japan, but downward pressure is buildingup with the latest procurement price cuts byChinese stainless producers, market sourcessaid Friday. Platts assessed China's 48%-52% chargechrome at 63-65 cents/lb CIF China and the58%-60% grade material at 64-66 cents/lb CIFChina on January 15, both unchanged from theprevious Friday.
