ArcelorMittal's Trinidad and Tobago operations remain halted

Though workers at steelmaker ArcelorMittal's Point Lisas facility in Trinidad and Tobago indicated on Monday that they planned to return to work, operations have not resumed, the company said Tuesday. The facility was forced to temporarily halt operations in the first week of December as a result of depressed commodities prices and demand, especially for its direct reduced iron products.
