Asian contracts for coal used in power stations may be set at a higher price than expected this year because of supply disruptions in South Africa, Australia and Indonesia, Goldman Sachs JBWere Pty said. Market Tightness: "A vailability of good quality export thermal coal has tightened appreciably since the start of the year due to a series of supply disruptions in major coal exporting regions," Goldman Sachs JBWhere analysts, Mr Malcolm South wood, Mr Paul Gray and Mr Marc Bonter, said in the report.
