Govt calls for coal mining JV with pvt investors

The coal ministry is looking at a proposal to float a joint venture (JV) coal mining company with equity participation from Bharat Coking Coal Ltd along with private players like SAIL and the Jindals. Bharat Coking Coal CMD PS Bhattacharya said : "The ministry has mooted a proposal to mine coal at Kapuria by one of the private players with interests in coal mining."
