The range of companies offering online TV services continues to grow, as do the types of services on offer. All are still finding their feet to some degree. But could the humble TV set prove to be the saviour of online video? Major investments are being made in increasing the capacity of broadband networks, which combined with advances in streaming technology means that video is being broadcast over the internet at increasingly high quality and some online TV services are having a profound impact on the way people watch TV.
