Kudelski feels impact of OpenTV acquisition

Conditional access and interactive TV specialist Kudelski Group suffered a sharp drop in profitability in 2007, with EBIT falling 41.6% to CHF87.7m (E54.7m) and net income falling 51.3% to CHF67.4m. The discrepancy was due in part to a gain in 2006 on the sale of Kudelski's TicketCorner unit and in part to the negative impact on 2007 EBIT of the consolidation of interactive TV specialist OpenTV.
