Hexaaquachromium(III) trihydrogen isopolyvanadate [Cr(H2O)6]H3[V_(10)O_(28)] · 2H2O (I) was obtained and examined by mass spectrometry, X-ray powder diffraction, thermogravimetry, and IR and NMR spectroscopy. The crystals are monoclinic, space group PI, a = 7.862(3), b = 8.427(5), c = 5.000(2) A, (3 = 96.46(4)°, V= 867.0(3) A~3, ρ_(calcd) = 5.83 g/cm~3, Z= 1.
