Data on the standard entropies of tellurites of rare earth elements are scarce and this determined the interest towards these studies. The present paper reports for studies and suggests 4 methods for calculation of the standard entropy of the rare earth tellurites synthesised. An assessment of their accuracy was performed and the relative error rates in the general practice of the Gauss least square laboratory method were found. The dependence DSC of the molecular masses of the tellurites synthesised was investigated and graphically represented. To calculate the standard values of the entropy of the lantanides tellurites studied, the Newton interpolation formulae from the mathematical calculation methods were used for non-equally spaced argument values, applied for analysis and prediction of the standard entropy of formation.
