摘要

The kinetics of oxidation of the title reaction in hydrochloric acid was studied spectrophotometrically.The reaction is first order each in vanadium(V),and 2-butatone concentrations and second order with respect to [hydrochloric acid].The product,vanadium(IV)has an autoacceleration effect on the oxidation reaction.Effects of added products,ionic strength and temperature on the reaction have been examined.A composite mechanism involving autocatalysis has been proposed.
