摘要

An example of the modern perils of radio frequency interference surfaced in China recently. Train service operators in the city of Shenzhen, suspended passengers using 3G network mobile telephone devices after they were blamed for causing a number of trains on underground lines to stop abruptly between stations. Shenzhen Metro believe the stoppages have been caused by wireless 3G routers operating in the 2.4 GHz frequency band interfering with the emergency brakes on the trains causing them to engage.
