Monsanto Co registered net sales of US1.7 billion for 3Q ending May 2004(+14% over the net sales of US1.468M in 3Q ending May 2003).For 3Q 2003-2004,sales of Roundup and other glyphosate-based herbicides within the Agricultural Productivity segment increased 27%,with increased sales in most world areas.Net income was US252 M for 3Q 2003-2004(net income of US174 M in 3Q 2002-2003).
